 Scarifying.

Do you want to have a healthy and resilient lawn? Having your lawn scarifed at least once a year will help towards this goal.
Scarifying is the process of mechanically removing moss and thatch from your lawn. This process ensures
crucial nutrients like oxygen, water, and fertilizers reach the grassroots.

Scarifying your lawn will help your lawn grow healthier and become more resistant to weed growth.

It's usual, but not essential to have your lawn over-seeded and top-dressed after scarifying. This will help your lawn look thicker and healthier.

Bonus.

Customers who opt to have their lawn scarified will also receive a soil improvement treatment completely free of charge.

Frequently asked questions.

Q. When is the best time to scarify my lawn?

A. Early spring is the best time. Just after the plant grass has come out of its winter dormant stage and is actively growing.

Q.  Does anything need to be done before I have my lawn scarified?

ASome pre-work may be advised prior to scarifying to obtain optimal results. Your lawn care experts at Better Lawns 4u will explain prior to the commencement of any work.

Q Will scarifying stress my lawn?

A. Yes. But don't worry. We will only start the scarifying process once the grass plant is actively growing. It will recover within a few weeks and come back stronger and healthier as the thatch would have been removed from just below the surface which will enable the grass to grow stronger and healthier.

Q . What aftercare should I do after it's been scarified?

A. Your lawn care experts at Better Lawns 4u will provide you with full details of any aftercare requirements before commencement of any work.
